Parliament Names of Different Countries – दुनिया के हर देश में संसद (Parliament) का कोई न कोई रूप होता है। संसदीय प्रणाली दो श्रेणियों में आती है: द्विसदनीय (Bicameral) और एक सदनीय (unicameral)। पार्लियामेंट शब्द एंग्लो-नॉर्मन से लिया गया है और 14वीं शताब्दी का है। दुनिया के 193 देशों में से 79 द्विसदनीय हैं और 113 एक सदनीय हैं, संसद के 46,000 से अधिक सदस्यों के साथ संसद के कुल 272 कक्ष हैं। एक संसद सरकार का एक विधायी निकाय है जो मतदाताओं का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है, कानून बनाता है, और सुनवाई और पूछताछ के माध्यम से सरकार की देखरेख करता है।

Parliament Names of Different Countries – सरकार के किसी भी लोकतांत्रिक रूप में सर्वोच्च विधायी निकाय को संसद कहा जाता है। यह देश की कार्यकारी शासी निकाय भी है। संसद, कांग्रेस, नेशनल असेंबली आदि इस विधायी निकाय का प्रतिनिधित्व करने के लिए उपयोग किए जाने वाले सामान्य नाम हैं। अधिकांश इस्लामी देश अपनी संसद के नाम के रूप में “शोरा” या “मजलिस” का उपयोग करते हैं। विधायिका एक सदनीय या द्विसदनीय हो सकती है। छोटे निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों वाले समलर देश एक सदनीय विधायिका को पसंद कर सकते हैं लेकिन बड़े देशों में आमतौर पर द्विसदनीय प्रकार की विधायिका होती है। द्विसदनीय विधायिका में संसद के दो सदन होते हैं- निचला सदन और उच्च सदन। निचले सदन के सदस्य आम तौर पर सीधे नागरिकों से चुने जाते हैं जबकि उच्च सदन के सदस्य आम तौर पर मनोनीत होते हैं।
